Deb Vonderharr-Carlson, Ph.D., Nebraska Methodist College, Associate Professor

Deb Vonderharr-Carlson, Ph.D., is associate professor in the Nebraska Methodist College psychology program since 2004. She also works in the Department of Instructional Effectiveness at NCM as the college researcher. Previous to NMC, she taught educational psychology and worked for the Center of Instructional Innovation at University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Her grant experience includes grant manager for a 1.3 Million, DOE Mentoring Grant for Lexington Schools; Co-PI for a 53,023 Eisenhower Professional Development Program, grant coordinator for a 300,000 CEUTT Andrew Mellon Foundation Initiative, and researcher for a 30,000 Komen breast cancer survivor program grant.

Carlson received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from Wayne State College in 1991 and her MSE in 1992 also from WSC. Her Ph.D. in Cognition, Learning, and Development was awarded in 2001 by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
