Deborah Avrin, MS, SPHR - Director of Staff and Curriculum Development Deborah has been a human resources professional for over 18 years and holds a BBA in Human Resources and an MS in Organizational Behavior. Her company, Management Skills Resource Inc, provides training workshops for management development to increase the "competence and confidence of management teams". Deborah utilizes creative and interactive training techniques in her programs in communication, team building, management and human resources. Her coaching skills have assisted hundreds of managers be successful in their chosen field. She has been an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas for four semesters teaching the SHRM learning system for the PHR/SPHR certification. Dr. JoyLynn Hailey Reed Dr. JoyLynn Hailey Reed has a broad background in fitness, wellness, corporate training, management, and program assessment that lends itself to her ability to take a leadership role with wellness projects. She has been involved in corporate training and assessment for 24 years as a consultant to many companies such as Revlon as well as government organizations such as the Texas Lottery Commission. In addition to her corporate training expertise, Dr. Reed has taught over 45 different university-level courses in management and communication.
Dr. Reed holds the position of Director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at the University of Texas at Dallas where a major part of her work involves developing and implementing program assessments. She has 24 years of experience assessing and evaluating programs as well as over 20 years of research experience.
In addition to her expertise in training and teaching, JoyLynn has been a certified fitness professional since 1979 when she was the youngest person and one of the first ten outside of California to purchase a Jazzercise franchise. After 10 successful years with Jazzercise, she became certified by the American Council on Exercise and started an aerobics program at St. Edward's University in Austin. Currently, Dr. Reed consults as a wellness specialist with The Greenhouse Spa as well with various departments at the University of Texas at Dallas. In December, she will complete her Cooper Institute certification as a Personal Trainer.
Dr. Rager Robin C. Rager, Ph.D., FAWHP Dr. Rager Robin C. Rager, Ph.D., FAWHP, has been involved in the field of health promotion for nearly 20 years, both as a consultant and as college professor. His consulting and academic activities have focused on individual and population health assessment, and the design and evaluation of effective health promotion and disease management programs in a variety of populations and settings - ranging from health care systems to railroad workers to military personnel to migrant farm workers.
He is the proprietor of Optimum Health Management, which provides health management services to businesses and health care organizations, including needs assessment, program design, marketing, online and onsite health promotion services, and program evaluation. His research and development projects have included a variety of workforce studies related to the impact of health risk reduction and disease management interventions (e.g., smoking cessation, weight management, diabetes management, sleep/fatigue and alertness, depression/anxiety management, injury prevention, health-related impairment in worker productivity), nutritional supplement product efficacy; the design of online health risk assessment instruments; the design of health care claims analysis systems; and the development and management of a risk-rated employee wellness incentive program.
During his two decades in academia, Dr. Rager was a health education professor at Penn State University and Texas Woman's University, and served as the Director of PSU's Center for Worksite Health Enhancement. He has been honored as a Fellow of the Association for Worksite Health Promotion (FAWHP), served as chair of the American Public Health Association's Worksite Health Promotion Committee, and participated in the development of the Healthy People 2010 Objectives for the Nation as a member of the Worksite Health Promotion Work Group. He is currently a full-time health management and evaluation consultant for business and industry, living in Greenville, North Carolina.

Vicki Newton Vicki Newton is a Marketing Communications professional with more than 15 years experience in a variety of industries. She has excelled in the creation and execution of sales and training materials for internal staff and distribution partners. Ms. Newton was instrumental in creating videos and marketing materials for TAP.
Jan Pearman Jan Pearman has had many years experience in the healthcare industry.
Her experience ranges from special education teaching assistant, surgical circulator in plastic surgery and database coordinator in radiology at St Luke's hospital to nineteen years at UT Southwestern Medical School as a clinical staff associate.
She has a degree in Medical Assisting and continued studies in nursing, lab technology, healthcare and marketing.
Jan used her experience as cancer survivor of nine years to support people with life threatening diseases especially those in cancer treatment phases. She has organized department events, conferences, fund raisers, and the application/interviewing process for UT Southwestern Ophthalmology Along with serving on various boards and in multiple organizations, Jan serves as a chaplain at her church.
Through her involvement with TAP, she has successful made lifestyle change and would like to continue implementing the program in the area of integrative preventive care.
Michael R. Bass, M.A., LPC, LMT Michael R. Bass, M.A., LPC, LMT, has over 25 years experience in sales, promotion and training. He currently has private practices in counseling and neuromuscular therapy serving clients throughout Texas. He has also facilitated support groups for adults and adolescents as well as parenting and self-improvement classes for adults.
He has a BBA in Marketing and Business Administration from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas and a Master's in Professional Counseling from Texas State University.
Brenda Loube Brenda Loube has 30 years of extensive experience in wellness and fitness programming for all age groups. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education from Towson State University in Maryland and a Master of Science in Physical Education with an empha-sis in Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin. Brenda was appointed as Chairperson for the Maryland Advisory Council on Physical Fitness and serves on the boards of the National Health and Fitness Association, the Advisory Board for the International Council on Active Aging, and the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Brenda is a recent recipient of the Health Educator of the Year Award from the American Association for Health Education and the prestigious William Anderson Award from AAHPERD.

Jack M. Curtis, M. S. Jack M. Curtis, M. S., is Chief Executive Officer for Corporate Health Partners, Inc. With the extensive leadership skills Mr. Curtis, who has thirty years of business
experience, and is known for his high-energy leadership, analytical ability, team-building and organizational skills.
