- Lower medical expenses for program participants vs. non-participants
- Reduction in aggregate health risk: 6% decrease for low risk cohort (N = 22,114), 14% decrease for high risk cohort (N = 2,321)
- Reduction in many individual risk factors
- Improvement in self-efficacy (as measured by stage of readiness-to-change)
- Average per person claims costs for participants were $16,121 lower than those for non-participants
- Direct costs for high risk participants declined by 23%
